We offer a free monthly newsletter with child development activities, information for relative caregivers, and information about montly activities. All services are provided free. Transportation, if needed to attend support groups, family fun activities, emotional issues of children , and other activities are free. Child care is provided for support group which meets usually the third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Mountain Empire Older Citizens. We also provide supportive services,  educational services, referral services, and make home visits.

Social Worker with the Dept. of Family Services in Fairfax (703-324-7723). Nancy works with Outreach and Intake for the Nurturing Program, which provides support groups for mothers, grandmothers who are parenting their
grandchildren, and children.  Grandparents would have to commit to come to all weekly meetings.  All meetings/groups take place in the evening, following a group dinner meal for moms & kids provided free of charge
